Look for the following mushrooms

Puffball is a commonly found mushroom that can be eaten when young and flesh completely white.  Always cut a vertical cross-section to eliminate the possibility of confusing a young, poisonous Amanita.

Shaggy Mane is a choice edible that must not be eaten with alcohol and must be eaten when very young (before the gills turn black) and very quickly after picking.​
