Birch Bolete
Leccinum
The flesh of Birch Bolete is white or pale when fresh and un-bruised, but turns blackish when cooked. Cap
yellow-tan to greyish brown, often developing an olive tint when mature.
Pores
whitish when young, later grey to tan to brown. Not bluing when bruised or cut.
