The Prince
Agaricus augustus
The Prince has a distinct almondy smell and young specimens look a bit like toasted marshmallows emerging from the ground. Most find this mushroom edible and delicious, but all edible Agaricus' are known to give a few trouble. Proceed with caution and be sure to follow my process for Safe Eating for Foraged Mushrooms.
