The Prince
Agaricus augustus
The Prince has a distinct almondy smell and young specimens look a bit like toasted marshmallows emerging from the ground. The Prince's poisonous look a-likes can be easily distinguished by their smooth stems, lack of almondy smell, and often yellow staining when cut or bruised.
