Search under each tree for these mushrooms:

Chanterelles often grow entangled with the moss and ferns that grow between Fir and Hemlock trees, they give off an apricot + nuts odor 

Lobsters are often first visible as small slices of red peaking  out of the ground surrounded by ferns, moss, duff, or thickets​​

Shaggy Parasol can often be found with conifers but be careful of poisonous and deadly look-alikes
